MEOW (Make Every One Wanted) is a distributed Social Operating System for Web3 called Zero, designed to enable communication, collaboration, financial transactions, and onchain governance to occur directly among content-creators, developers, and users, also referred to as Members. This system operates independently of third parties, thereby reducing the possibility of censorship at the level of code and mitigating the potential for security breaches and data violations.
Zero moves ownership, incentives, and governance to individual Members, communities, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). This is facilitated by Infinity, its native protocol token, which allows Members to purchase and sell hosting power within the Zero Grid. The Zero Grid is a distributed peer-to-peer network managed solely by its Members, similar to how Bitcoin mining works. Infinity creates a strong cryptographic incentive for Members to maintain and expand the Zero Grid, generating long-term value for the network.
The key technologies comprising the Zero Stack include the Zero Open System (zOS), Zero Name Service (ZNS), zDAO, zChain, Ethereum, and Filecoin/IPFS. This arrangement results in a fully decentralized, scalable, and self-governing alternative to traditional centralized social networks and internet platforms.
