ZEOS will provide developers of dapps and protocols on EOS the ability to protect the privacy of their users with zk-SNARKs. The ZEOS token contract allows for a trustless, on-chain verification of the zk-SNARKs, which allows developers to focus more on the core logic of their dapp/protocol than having to build their own proving system for zero knowledge proofs. It uses the Jens Groth-developed Groth16 proving system, which gives anyone the ability to create arithmetic circuits and generate the verifying and proving keys needed to implement them.
