Yokozuna Finance is a decentralized financial protocol built on the IOST blockchain, introducing innovative concepts in DAO ownership through NFTs. These NFTs not only govern but also ultimately own the DAO fund. The platform incorporates elements from sumo traditions, where users progress through divisions to achieve the highest league ranking of Makuuchi, aspiring to become a Yokozuna.
Yokozuna Finance operates using the ZUNA token, which has a maximum supply of 100,000,000 and is designed to decrease in emission annually. The token is the exclusive currency used to purchase Yokozuna Finance NFTs, which grant users ownership and governance of the DAO Fund. The protocol employs mechanisms to increase token scarcity and value by distributing fees in various ways:
ZUNA Token Allocation
- Maximum Supply: 100,000,000
- Initial Mint: 20,000,000
- Emission: 80,000,000
Fee Distribution
- NFT Slot Auction: 50% fees are burned, 50% fund the DAO
- NFT Secondary Market: 5% fees are burned, 5% fund the DAO, 90% retained by seller
- Tournaments: 25% fees are burned, 25% fund the DAO, 50% awarded to winner
- Deposit Fees: 100% fund the DAO
These mechanisms create a sustainable token model that promotes the usage and value of ZUNA tokens within the Yokozuna Finance ecosystem.
