Overview
The XYO Network, also known as the XY Oracle Network, is a decentralized system of location oracles designed to bridge the gap between the physical world and blockchain applications. It enables trustless transactions by using an ecosystem of crypto-location devices to verify the location of objects at specific XY-coordinates.
Functionality
The network consists of four primary components: Sentinels (data gatherers), Bridges (data relayers), Archivists (data storers), and Diviners (answer aggregators). These components work together to provide high-certainty location data through a chain of zero-knowledge proofs, reducing the risk of location spoofing. Users can issue transactions, called queries, to retrieve location data and execute smart contracts based on this information.
