- Community Builder Rewards: Locked for over 1 year, for ecosystem participants.
- Team: Vesting-based compensation with a 6-month cliff and 1.5-year linear vesting.

Overview
XAV is built to the same specifications as the Balancer (BAL) token, allowing for locking XAV to mint veXAV (vote-escrowed XAV). This is necessary for earning fees generated by the Xave Finance protocol. XAV is not designed as a rewards token to avoid unsustainable inflation but instead creates a positive feedback loop of governance participation and fee distribution.
