They've created the Whole Earth Coin (WEC), a token that runs on the Ethereum blockchain to power their data-exchange platform, the Whole Earth Access Platform. This platform gathers detailed data on infrastructure traced by geolocation from crowdsourced smartphone apps and uses this data to develop AI for infrastructure management. Additionally, members of the ecosystem are rewarded for their participation. The WEC token was launched on January 5th, 2021 with an initial supply of 1 billion, but prior to its listing on ProBit and CoinsBit exchanges, a token burn was conducted reducing the total supply to 300 million.
