Waterfall Governance
Waterfall Governance is a DeFi platform that applies traditional tranching methodology to support diversification in yield-generating DeFi assets. This approach prioritizes yields and principal distributions according to risk tolerance._yield aggregation logic redistributes yields and principal from a preferred pool of DeFi yielding assets based on priority, starting from the highest (Senior Tranche) to the lowest (Junior Tranche). The Senior Tranche receives fixed yield distributions first. The Junior Tranche then receives higher potential variable yields, assuming the underlying asset portfolio performs as intended. This approach offers two tiers of diversification: portfolio concentration and prioritized payments. It naturally creates leverage within the portfolio without needing external funding markets. Waterfall Governance brings structured products to the DeFi space, making the market more efficient by redistributing risk and reward accordingly.
