Vitality (VITA) is the first XRC20 token designed as rewards for the IoTeX community. It utilizes on-chain governance and incentives to promote an autonomous and decentralized community. Vitality is distributed to active IoTeX community members and can be used in future IoTeX DApps and products. Vitality is a non-premined token with a total supply of 5 billion, distributed via smart contract. The token was launched in June 2019, with 9 million VITA minted every cycle (25 hours) for the first three months. Every 90 cycles (~3 months), the minted amount decreases by 15%.
