VitaDAO is a decentralized governance token designed to support decision-making processes within the VitaDAO ecosystem. The token, VITA, is an ERC-20 token utilized for voting purposes, giving token holders the ability to engage in governance activities within the DAO.

Governance Process: Governance involves two main forms: soft governance, which includes decisions without on-chain votes, and on-chain governance, which requires on-chain voting. Proposals are developed and approved through a three-phase process, with different levels of required majority depending on the scope and budget of the proposal.

Token Supply: The total supply of VITA is capped at 64,298,880, symbolizing the number of minutes lived by Jeanne Louis Calment, the longest-lived person recorded. Initially, 30% of the supply was allocated to the community, and 70% remained unminted in the DAO treasury.

Voting Mechanism: The more tokens held in a wallet, the greater the weight of the vote. Token holders vote on proposals using the Snapshot platform, which operates without transaction fees.

Purpose: Ownership of VITA grants voting rights but does not provide ownership rights to VitaDAO's intellectual property. Token holders decide on how to utilize and monetize those IPs.
