It seeks to overcome the limitations of traditional blockchain like speed, scalability, and decentralization by developing a protocol layer using the Helios consensus algorithm. The project was launched in 2023, with its first Testnet featuring various dApps, and a second Testnet, Nebulas. The next step is to launch the mainnet, Solaris, in late 2023. The U2U tokens can be used for transactions, accessing platform services, participation in governance mechanisms, and various decentralized applications built on the U2U Chain.
