Umami is a DeFi protocol focused on generating sustainable, risk-hedged yield on core crypto assets, including $USDC, $BTC, and $ETH, on the Arbitrum network. As a pioneering project, Umami aims to drive institutional adoption of DeFi by offering professional-grade yield products, known as "vaults," catering to both retail and institutional capital.

The protocol uses the $UMAMI governance and revenue-sharing token, which holds a fixed supply of 1 million tokens, with about 125,000 permanently locked and not in circulation. Token holders govern the protocol through Snapshot, a DAO governance platform, and receive a portion of platform fees in ETH.

Umami's current ecosystem includes strategy vaults designed to manage liquidity and generate yield. The protocol's products include GLP Vaults, which offer exposure to blended assets, and GM Vaults, which automate hedging for single-token deposits, ensuring stable and lucrative yields.
