The Turkish Basketball Federation Fan Token (TBFT) is a fan token project launched by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF). The TBF is an autonomous sports federation established in 1959 and based in Istanbul. It organizes basketball leagues and tournaments, including men's and women's leagues, league championships, the Turkish Cup, and the Presidential Cup.
The Turkish Basketball Federation is a member of FIBA and ULEB. The federation is currently led by President Hidayet Türkoğlu. The TBFT is a digital asset designed to provide fans with a way to engage more deeply with the federation and its activities. It operates as a standard Ethereum ERC20 blockchain token, allowing it to be traded on platforms other than its native one.
