The Trust Wallet Token or TWT for short is a utility token that can be used within the app itself. This is used as a means of incentivizing all of the Trust Wallet Users. It is a BEP-20 utility token that provides a wide range of benefits as well as incentives for users.

The Trust Wallet is a mobile cryptocurrency wallet that supports a lot of popular native assets.

The TWT Token Explained

This is a token that serves the role of a governance token, which means that it can be used by anyone that wants to take part in making a decision when it comes to adding new blockchain support, tokens as well as product features. Holders will also get discounts on DEX services after purchasing cryptocurrencies within the application. It also has a collectible marketplace where anyone who is interested in trading, selling, or buying digital collectibles can utilize the token in a user-friendly environment. The dApps reviews and promotions will also incentivize developers to deliver dApps that actually contribute to the further adoption of Web 3.0.

Features of Trust Wallet Token

The Trust Wallet app users can take advantage of the Trust Wallet token in order to get additional value. It is important to note that, outside of the Trust Wallet ecosystem, it does not really have any value.

The Trust Wallet Tokens, however, can be transferred to any wallet that supports the Binance Smart Chain assets, where it can be changed against other assets that are used as a form of payment for services.

It also offers voting rights as well as governance over the development of the Trust Wallet app and can be used for discounter DEX trades within the app, it has developed value of its own.

The TWT token is also one of the very first tokens to launch on the Binance Smart Chain which is a blockchain designed for smart contracts as well as decentralized applications. TWT can be transferred with low fees and almost instantaneous transaction confirmation times.

Furthermore, it is important to note that the Trust Wallet Token is backed by a tested proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus algorithm, which is used to protect the network in its entirety against a range of potential threats. It is also protected by a bug bounty program which is operated by Binance that can pay up to $10,000 in the form of BNB tokens to anyone that actually ends up discovering and reporting a vulnerability in the Binance Chain and its smart contracts.

Founders of Trust Wallet Token (TWT)

Discussing the founders of the Trust Wallet Token, it was founded by Viktor Radochenko. He previously worked at different tech companies and even co-founded Trucker Path in 2013 which is a company behind popular apps for truckers as well as logistics firms. The story goes like this: he found that app stores didn’t really have any open-source wallets for ERC-20 tokens, and as such, he created one. The platform itself was actually acquired by Binance in July of 2018 however he still works as part of the Binance team.
