It eliminates banks in the payment process, eliminating interbank fees and delivering transparency. Retreeb's business model places corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR) at its heart. It charges merchants lower fees than the market average and donates one-third of its revenue to a social project chosen by the transaction issuer. Users can utilize (S)treeb, multi-local stablecoins backed by the user’s currency (thus stable and immune to speculation), and (U)treeb, a governance token utility used for selecting CSR projects for funding.
