ToxicDeer Finance is a decentralized ecosystem built around an algorithmic token pegged to the value of USDC on the Cronos chain. This project is inspired by successful algorithmic stablecoin and token projects on other chains. The core token, DEER, functions as an algorithmic stablecoin, maintaining its value at 1 USDC through seigniorage, without relying on rebases or collateral. The protocol operates by expanding and contracting its supply much like central banks do to stabilize purchasing power.
