Key Components

• TLPT Authority and Teams: The TLPT Cyber Team, appointed by the financial entity, works with external service providers such as Red Teams (attackers) and Threat Intelligence Providers to design and execute the tests.
• Stages of TLPT: The process involves a preparation phase, where the scope is defined and participants are arranged; a testing phase, where threats are analyzed and simulations are conducted; and a closure phase, where results are assessed and recommendations are made.
• Regulatory Requirements: Entities are required to execute these tests at least every three years or as often as deemed necessary by the relevant competent authority, based on the risk profile and operational conditions of the financial entity.
