The Youth Pay is a summer youth employment program that connects young people with career exploration opportunities, work experiences, and professional development training to help prepare them for the future workforce. Through the program, participants are matched with employers in various industries, receiving valuable work experience and earning a wage.
Participation and Benefits
- Age Eligibility: Ages 15 to 24
- Duration: 6-week program with 120-hour paid work experience
- Hourly Pay: $13.00 per hour

- GRow Further Friday sessions covering professional development topics such as dressing for success, public speaking, and financial literacy
- Participation in training seminars and mentorship programs for career advancement
Participation Requirements
- Pre-Employment Orientation: Mandated attendance at one of three designated orientation sessions
- Additional Resources: Hosted events like the "GRowcase" to introduce participants to potential employers and learn about work assignments
