The Nzvedaz Big Five Project aims to increase Africa's involvement in technology through blockchain. It plans to introduce Africa's first NFT (non-fungible token) marketplace, teaching local artists about smart contract technology and opening up a wider market for their work. Additionally, the organization has created a metaverse to replicate Africa's natural resources and wildlife. Its deflationary currency, BFT, will be used within this ecosystem for a variety of functions including listing NFTs, facilitating transactions in the metaverse and in a planned gaming platform. The supply of BFT tokens is set to reduce by 8% by the end of the first year and 25% by end of the second year to increase its value over time. Expansion plans include addressing issues such as high insurance costs.
