Terra MNT is a cryptocurrency project that utilizes a "regular" crypto coin called Luna (LUNA) to balance the value of the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin. The reciprocal relationship between these two coins is at the core of the project.

Function

Luna is used to adjust the value of Terra. When the demand for Terra increases, more Terra coins are produced, causing their value to drop. To maintain the target value, an equivalent amount of Luna coins need to be removed simultaneously. This process is performed by "burning" Luna coins. Conversely, when the value of Terra drops, Terra coins are removed until the value reaches its target, which requires producing an equivalent amount of new Luna coins.
