Overview
SwiftCash is an open-source, self-funded system of decentralized governance and economy that aims to create a digital store of value and a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency. It enables daily transactional use along with cheat-proof lotteries that can be played by anyone in the blockchain without the need for a custodian or third-party service. Additionally, the platform includes on-chain HODL/Term deposits.
Consensus Algorithm
SwiftCash uses the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) algorithm to reach consensus, which allows for energy efficiency and does not require specialized mining equipment.
Inflation Distribution
SwiftCash's inflation is distributed in the following manner:
- 10% of maximum inflation goes to proposals that are approved by enough stakeholders.
- 10% goes directly to stakeholders who help secure the network, including Miners and Masternodes.
- 80% can go to HODL/Term deposits, which are coins time locked in the blockchain for 1-12 months.
