Overview
Sway Social is a social protocol that translates social capital into an asset class using NFTs. This allows Metacreators to monetize their Metaverse on their own terms. Every building block in the Metaverse, including game items, avatars, collectibles, and social media posts, is represented by an NFT. The value of these NFTs is established by the community that supports the creators.

Proxy Staking Pools: Sway Social enables users to deploy proxy staking pools for their wallets holding NFT assets. Other users can stake tokens in these pools to earn rewards from the paired wallet's NFT sales and royalties, thereby contributing to the establishment of the creator's social capital.

Integrating Social Capital and NFTs: Traditional Web 2.0 platforms are built around an information read-write principle where value is locked with the service provider. Web3 offers an alternative by enabling democratization of value transfer through what is known as the 'Shareconomy' model, which resets the economic principles of social capital.

Decentralized Reputation Layer: In an open Metaverse, every element is represented by an NFT. A reputation and trust layer helps filter out good players from bad ones and sustains a healthy meta economy.

Staking as a Representation of Social Capital: Instead of following a creator, participants can stake their tokens in a subDAO, essentially providing a social underwriting facility for creators, with value established based on pool participation. This creates a web3 equivalent model where social capital is directly correlated to the earnings power of creators.
