Liquid Lockers
Stake DAO's Liquid Lockers allow users to convert their governance tokens into liquid derivatives called sdTokens, which can be staked and traded freely. This process maintains the maximum vote weight, enabling users to retain full voting power while unlocking additional benefits:
- Boosted Yield: Users can earn increased yield on their governance tokens.
- Exit Liquidity: Users can liquidate their positions back to the underlying token at any time.
- Governance Power: Users retain full voting power without having to lock their tokens.
- Bribing: Users can sell their voting rights.
- Cross-Chain Accessibility: The program aims to provide cross-chain functionality in the future.
sdCRV (CRV Liquid Locker)
The CRV Liquid Locker allows users to mint sdCRV tokens by depositing CRV, which can then be staked in the gauge to receive maximum protocol APR, platform fees, and SDT incentives, as well as boosted voting power on Curve.
Functionality
- Minting: CRV can be converted to sdCRV, and vice versa.
- Staking: sdCRV tokens can be staked to receive additional incentives.
- Trading: sdCRV can be traded on secondary markets, allowing for liquidity.
- Boosting Voting Power: Users can boost their voting power by converting sdCRV to vsdCRV.
- Boosting Yield: Users can boost their yield by converting sdCRV to asdCRV.
