Stader BNBx is a non-custodial, smart contract-based staking platform that offers a liquid staking solution for Binance Coin (BNB) on the BNB Chain. This platform allows users to participate in staking and earn rewards without locking their assets or maintaining staking infrastructure. Users deposit their BNB into Stader's smart contracts and receive BNBx tokens in return, which represent the value of the staked BNB along with any accrued staking rewards or penalties.
Stader generates revenue by charging a 10% fee on the staking rewards earned by depositors, which is used to upgrade the protocol's staking infrastructure. Passive BNB holders can generate additional yield by participating in the PoS validation mechanism to earn block rewards.
One significant advantage is that the unlocked liquidity provided by BNBx can be utilized on various popular DeFi protocols to generate additional yield, enhancing the overall utilization of staked assets and increasing market liquidity. This model also improves interoperability across platforms, making the staking process more user-friendly and versatile for users.
