What is STACKS?
STACKS is a decentralized store of value and DeFi banking system built on the Binance Smart Chain. It allows holders to park their idle cryptocurrency and earn passive rewards in BNB, automatically sent to their wallets multiple times a day. This ecosystem operates using a unique tokenomics model fueled by a 3% tax on both buys and sells.
Unique Features
The 3% tax is distributed as follows:
- 1.5% is converted into BNB rewards for holders;
- 0.5% is added to the Pancakeswap liquidity pool for price stability and security;
- 0.5% is used for the "True Burn" mechanism, permanently removing tokens from circulation;
- 0.5% goes to the developer wallet to fund development efforts transparently.
History
STACKS was launched on July 4th, 2023, by a dedicated team aiming to create a sustainable DeFi financial system on the Binance Smart Chain.
Future Development
The primary focus is now on mass adoption and awareness efforts. The long-term goal is to achieve widespread adoption and eventually integrate STACKS into debit-style cards, enabling seamless conversions to fiat currencies for various retail and real-world transactions.
