Project Mission
Scientia aims to transform the current model of scientific funding and research by establishing a trust owned by and serving the broader scientific community. SCIENTIA seeks to support both academic research and research-oriented companies through a decentralized, community-driven approach.
Token Overview
The SCIENTIA Token was launched on the Binance Smart Chain in October 2021 and is now available on secondary markets. Initially an elastic supply token, it stopped rebasing in January 2022 following a community decision. Key features include a 9.42% transaction tax, divided into:
- Liquidity Pool: 3.14% for liquidity support.
- Science Funding: 2.09% to fund research projects, determined together with the SCIENTIA community.
- Buyback: 2.09% for token buybacks, returning value to the community.
- Development and Marketing: 2.09% to support project development, marketing, and compensate developers.
Purpose
The SCIENTIA Token is designed to support the project's goal of community-driven research funding and return value to its holders over time, rather than being an investment product.
