Rosen Bridge is an Ergo-centric bridge designed to facilitate secure and efficient coin and token transfers between Ergo and other compatible blockchains. It prioritizes security over transaction speed, ensuring a high level of protection for users.
Security Features
The bridge has a multi-layered security architecture, comprising two layers:
- Watchers: Monitor blockchain activities and report validated events to Guards.
- Guards: Verify events reported by Watchers and execute the necessary actions to ensure the integrity of the bridge.
Tokenomics
- RSN Token: The utility token used for sybil resistance, fee distribution, and bridge access. It revolves around the concept of Watchers and Guards.
- Fee Structure: The greater of $10 or 0.5% of the transaction value, plus network fees. Fees are incentivized and distributed among Watchers and Guards.
Bridge Operation
- Smart Contract Reduction: No need for deploying and using smart contracts on the other chains, minimizing security risks.
- Scalability and User Safety: Designed for the addition of new chains through independent modules, ensuring a low-risk environment.
Current State and Future Plans
- Beta Testing: Currently testing the bridge to Cardano.
- Future Development: Plans to add support for Bitcoin, BSC, Dogecoin, and more through code refactoring.
