RocketSwap provides liquidity automatically and is the first protocol to trade on both Base and opBNB. Additionally, its decentralized nature allows for community-driven decision-making and ownership through the DAO structure.
History
On August 14, 2023, RocketSwap suffered an exploit resulting in a loss of 471 ETH, worth around $868,000, due to the compromise of its private keys. The attackers utilized a brute force attack on the server, which was made possible by the private keys being stored online. The team responded by shutting down the farm contracts to prevent further damage and developed an emergency plan to recover from the exploit, including redeploying a new open-sourced farm contract and introducing additional security measures.

RocketSwap is moving forward with its emergency plan, which includes the deployment of a new farm contract, relinquishing minting rights, and implementing additional security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
