The Robonomics Web Services protocol supports various use cases, including IoT devices, robotics, and smart cities infrastructure. The main token used in the Robonomics network is XRT, which serves as a utility token for transaction fees on Ethereum and Polkadot ecosystems. Additionally, the RWS token has been introduced as a lifetime subscription token, offering a rate of one transaction per second over the Robonomics Parachain.
The total supply of RWS tokens is limited to 100, with the initial distribution currently underway. The token's functionality is expected to expand in the future, with benchmarks indicating potential for higher bandwidth and various subscription types.
