The Releap Protocol is a decentralized, multi-chain social graph that enables users to possess and exploit their audience and content across various applications, while also allowing social applications to co-exist and make use of a shared database. The project stands out due to its design which is based on the principle of modularity, allowing it to scale quickly, give users full ownership of their Web3 assets, and enable gas-less interactions between dApps and users. Initially formulated by Aaron Pon in 2023, the protocol was launched along with Releap App when the Sui Network started. Going forward, the project aims to develop more tools for fair monetization systems and improve user experience. The platform's native token, REAP, is needed for voting on governance issues, participating in curation models, and creating profiles on the Protocol.
