Overview
RFOX is a multichain digital asset that fuels the RFOX metaverse ecosystem and its immersive technology. The project aims to be the global leader in immersive metaverse experiences focused on retail, media, gaming, and rewards.
Technology
RFOX is an ERC-20 token designed as the medium of exchange within the RedFOX Labs venture ecosystem. This ecosystem spans various ventures in emerging technologies, including blockchain, NFTs, gaming, ride-sharing, and esports.
Token Utility
The RFOX token serves several purposes, including:
- Economy within the Virtual World: Fees, rent, and commissions within the virtual world are settled with RFOX tokens.
- Payment for KOGs Items: RFOX tokens are used for buying collector packs, trading fees, merchandise, and act as rewards for set holders and tournament participants.
- Multichain Operations: Wrapped versions of RFOX tokens are used as the main currency for building companies and products on multiple chains.
- Token Generation: New tokens for each project are generated from the main RFOX supply.
- Stablecoin Backing: RFOX tokens may be used to back stablecoins or currencies.
Development
RedFOX Labs, the venture builder behind RFOX, was founded in 2018 and initially launched on the Komodo blockchain in April 2019. The token migrated to Ethereum in October 2020. RedFOX's ecosystem is built around its metaverse platform, which features immersive tools for creators and users alike.
