RAD is the utility token of the Radworks Network, used to coordinate all actors within the network. It primarily functions as the means to govern the network's treasury and infrastructure providers on the Radicle network. RAD holders govern all aspects of the network by voting on Radworks Governance Proposals (RGPs) to manage the treasury, improve the network, and set critical system parameters.

The Radworks Seed Network rewards seed node operators who provide infrastructure services with RAD tokens.
