Key Features
- Face Value Redemption: One PXDC can be redeemed for $1 of PulseX ($PLSX) at face value.
- Arbitrage Opportunity: If PXDC falls below $1, users are incentivized to use the redemption mechanic to profit from the price difference. This mechanic helps maintain the $1 price floor of PXDC.
- Collateral Boost: The redemption process reduces the risk of Vault(s) with low collateral ratios by adding PXDC to these risky positions and removing some of the $PLSX collateral.
- Increased Price Stability: The overall system collateralization increases after a redemption, boosting the protocol's robustness and price stability.
PXDC aims to provide users with a stable store of value on the Pulsechain network, leveraging features from the well-established Liquity protocol.
