The open-source, modular blockchain system enables transparent, regulation-compliant fundraising through on-chain credentials. It offers an automatic framework for projects to raise funds in a diverse community and governs token issuance, distribution, and conversion to the mainnet. Polimec is designed to maximize value for Web3 projects, promote stakeholder participation in funding rounds, and minimize information disparities between participants and issuers. The protocol uses KILT's on-chain credentials for user verification for a variety of regulatory purposes, enabling network users to remain pseudonymous while complying with relevant regulations. Additionally, the native PLMC token allows users to participate in fundraisers and avail of other functionalities like staking and social credit building.
