Key Features

Lenders can earn interest by providing liquidity to the market. Borrowers pay interest on the assets they have borrowed. Unborrowed funds are allocated to blue-chip protocols, generating additional yield for lenders.

History

The project was initiated in September 2022 by the team consisting of Joseph Saw, Syahir Amali, and Shawn Benedict. The PINKAV token was launched on the KAVA network on June 16th, 2023, followed by the Pinjam Protocol becoming operational on June 19th, 2023.

Future Development

The protocol is planned to expand to multiple chains, introducing native non-bridgeable Pinjam tokens on each network. This will enable chain-specific governance and liquidity mining programs.

Token Usage

The PINKAV token can be staked or locked to earn revenue from the Pinjam protocol, which includes borrowing activity, yield from unborrowed funds, and network-specific incentives.
