Stablecoin (PAI)
The PAI stablecoin is backed by LP tokens as collateral, providing a common unit of account for holders of different LP tokens to transact with each other. This stablecoin aims to maintain a value pegged to 1 USD, serving as a reliable medium of exchange and store of value within the Parrot ecosystem.
Non-Custodial Lending Market
The Parrot Lending market allows LP holders to access their locked value by borrowing against lender liquidity. This market uses LP tokens as collateral, providing a liquidity network that enables users to unlock the value in their LP tokens.
Margin Trading (vAMM)
The protocol includes a margin trading product using a virtual AMM (Automated Market Maker) that leverages PAI as the common unit of account. This allows the Parrot community to collect fees from trading activities.
The Parrot Protocol is designed to solve the issue of inaccessible value locked in LP tokens across various DeFi systems. By creating a comprehensive network that integrates these three key components, it enables users to unlock and utilize the value stored in their LP tokens effectively.
