Pangolin Songbird (PSB) is a decentralized exchange (DEX) using the same automated market-making (AMM) model as Uniswap V2. It leverages the constant product formula and aims to create a chain-agnostic exchange with low transaction costs and high transaction speed, bridging various blockchain networks for a cross-chain future.
The PSB token is native to the Songbird network, which is a Canary network for the Flare Network. The Canary network concept was introduced by Polkadot and features a scarce token supply. Pangolin will use the PSB token for governance on the Songbird network, which will be instrumental in testing governance-led changes to Flare. The use of Songbird allows for advanced testing of applications, community building, and familiarization with Flare protocols without putting FLR tokens at risk.
