It is backed by a dual-token model, where the governance token (OGS) plays a crucial role in maintaining price stability. Ouro employs a Reserve Pool that receives asset deposits from users in exchange for OURO tokens at a 1:1 ratio. This reserve pool includes a mix of cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, BNB, and CAKE) that are believed to increase in value over time. The excess value in the pool is used to increase the OURO price, build an insurance fund, and buy back and burn OGS tokens, ensuring the price stability of OURO.
