It is collateralized by locking tokens in a personal Vault within an Orca Bank, as well as through other mechanisms detailed in the project's technical overview. This system allows users to maintain full control over their funds, eliminating the need for intermediaries like financial institutions. Users can deposit ERC20 tokens like USDC as collateral, enabling them to borrow AVAI tokens that can be used for investments while managing debt obligations.
