Nuon is a project dedicated to safety, transparency, and creating a solution to hedge against inflation. It is the first of its kind and uses the Truflation index of real, unbiased, and daily inflation data for accuracy and transparency. Nuon is not pegged to any fiat, making it more resistant to inflation and regulations when compared to other stablecoins. Nuon's mainnet was launched in September 2022 after a concept from June 2021, designing elements for the project from August 2021, a live testnet for September–December 2022, and a Coinfabrik audit in September 2022. The team plans to continue to develop and expand the project.
