Arbitrove Governance Token (TROVE) is the governance token for the Arbitrove Protocol, a yield-bearing index and strategy vault protocol built natively on the Arbitrum network. The protocol offers a carefully curated index product with a basket of blue-chip tokens from the Arbitrum ecosystem, along with an automatic rebalance mechanism. This solution aims to address liquidity and slippage issues by providing community members with exposure to a wide range of Arbitrum tokens, while also ensuring long-term liquidity to different tokens.
Tokenomics
- The total supply of TROVE is 1,000,000,000 tokens.
- 70% of the total supply will initially be in the form of Escrowed TROVE (esTROVE), which is non-transferable but stakable for protocol revenue sharing.
- esTROVE can be vested into TROVE through a 1-year linear vesting starting from September 2023.
- esTROVE that is vested is not eligible for staking or fee sharing.
Token Allocations
- 220 million TROVE/esTROVE will be allocated for incentivizing users of indices, stakers, and liquidity providers.
- 10 million TROVE will be airdropped to xGRAIL holders.
- 90 million TROVE will be reserved by the Arbitrove treasury, with 60 million TROVE used for protocol-owned liquidity.
- 330 million esTROVE will be airdropped to Nitro Cartel Passport holders.
- 150 million esTROVE will be distributed to current and future team members and contributors.
Governance
- TROVE holders have the authority to decide the direction of the project.
- The token is designed for fair distribution, ensuring that supporters can benefit from real yields through protocol fees.
