NaughtyDoge is an American video game developer founded by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin in 1984. The company was initially based in Virginia but relocated to Santa Monica, California. Sony Computer Entertainment acquired Naughty Dog in 2001, making it a first-party developer. Known for its unique approach to game development without a producer, the company is responsible for several iconic game series including Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted.
