Metaverse is a leading public blockchain company in China that offers Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) to facilitate secure, low-cost transfer of digital data and assets. It was founded in 2016 and its platform went live in 2017. Metaverse aims to transform financial services, transactions, and identity verification using a network of digital assets, identities and oracle intermediaries. The company's blockchain network, Metaverse ETP, collateralizes smart contracts and is used to pay transaction fees. Plans are in place to introduce a Proof of Stake (PoS) model to their current Proof of Work (PoW) model. The company already features dApps and a gold-backed crypto trading app, with plans to develop cross-chain compatibility with ERC-20 tokens as well as other applications. Metaverse ETP is traded on multiple cryptocurrency exchanges.
