Overview of MetaCat

MetaCat is a digital tool designed for storing and managing structured descriptions of problems and their solutions. It stores these descriptions in its Episodic Memory, where each description includes themes, rules, bridges, and other structures that led to the solution. Each description is labeled and appears as an icon in the Episodic Memory window.

Features and Functionality

• Problem Analysis: By clicking on an event icon, MetaCat can display detailed information about the event, including the state of the Workspace and associated themes.
• Comparison: The program can compare two answers stored in memory by analyzing the themes and structures underlying each description.
• Self-Watching: MetaCat uses the Temporal Trace to monitor its behavior and can alter its behavior by clamping patterns of themes, concepts, or codelet urgencies. This feature can be toggled on or off.
