How It Works
Megaton Finance operates as an automated market maker, using liquidity pools maintained by smart contracts. The liquidity pool consists of two tokens, such as WTON, ETH, and USDT. The base price for each token is automatically adjusted using the Uniswap v2 AMM equation, enabling traders to buy or sell tokens without a counterparty.
MEGA Token
- Governance Token: MEGA is a governance token used to maintain the ecosystem of Megaton Finance. Initially, tokens were distributed to liquidity providers.
- Token Supply: Total supply of MEGA tokens is 100,000,000.
- Token Distribution: Initially, 1,000,000 MEGA (1% of total supply) was allocated for marketing and LP incentives. The tokenomics include a daily mining volume of 18,750 MEGA and a halving period of 4 years.
Megaton Finance operates as a decentralized, trustless protocol governed by its community through the MEGA token.
