It has innovative features such as customized liquidity distributions, fee auto-compounding, liquidity shaping with boosted positions, and native Liquid Staking Token (LST) support with price-following. It raised $18 million in funding and after launch, surpassed Uniswap and Curve to become the #1 for wstETH. For Q3 2023, they will launch voting escrow and governance contracts and have plans for introducing AMM to more chains, and MAV LayerZero support in H1 2024. MAV is a native utility token, which is used to govern the Maverick ecosystem through Voting Escrow contracts where a user can stake MAV to get veMAV, which gives them more voting power.
