Origin

Rebranding
Following the collapse of Terra in May 2022, the original Terra Chain was rebranded as Terra Classic, with its native token being renamed from LUNA to LUNA Classic (LUNC). Additionally, all network stablecoins were rebranded with the "Classic" suffix.
Current Status
Terra Classic remains operational, although with limited activity and no further development planned. It now exists in parallel with a newly launched blockchain, Terra (LUNA), which features its own native token and aims to revitalize the Terra ecosystem.
