LIQ Protocol is a decentralized on-chain liquidation engine protocol built for Serum DEX margin markets and lending platforms on the Solana network. It provides liquidity through its engines to manage liquidations fulltime for Solana and Serum-based margin and borrowing projects. This allows projects to have a solidified backend for dealing with settlement liquidity.

Key Features

• Liquidation Engine: The liquidator is a program that initiates the liquidation process. It checks for overexposed accounts, prepares those accounts for liquidation, and provides funds to the liquidated accounts' liabilities in return for funds from the liquidated account's collateral.
• LIQ LP Staking: Users can provide liquidity to LIQ, earning fees back from the liquidators' profits by staking LP tokens.
• Governance Model: A limited governance model allows stakers to make decisions on the Liquidation Engine's process and holdings, determining markets and pairs for the protocol to manage.
