Kinesis gold (KAU) is a gold-backed cryptocurrency introduced by Kinesis, a global trading and digital asset utility platform. Each KAU token is backed by a gram of investment-grade gold bullion stored in Kinesis' audited vaults. Its purpose is to bring back physical gold backing into money, providing a stable store of value to the global community. Unique to KAU, holders receive a passive yield paid monthly for storing their gold on the platform, calculated from a share of transaction fee revenue. Kinesis also offers a Virtual Card that can instantly convert KAU holdings into local currency. Additionally, gold underpinning KAU can be redeemed with no high minimum withdrawal limits.
