JustCarbon is a platform designed to forward-fund hyperscale carbon removal solutions. It provides access to high-integrity, nature-based carbon removal projects, allowing individuals and organizations to invest in projects that align with their sustainability goals. The platform includes a range of projects, such as wetland and peatland restoration, biochar, afforestation, and enhanced rock weathering.

JustCarbon aims to bridge the funding gap in the carbon removal industry by connecting investors with project developers. The platform offers a tokenized carbon removal unit (JCR) to facilitate access to voluntary carbon markets (VCMs), ensuring transparency and quality standards through blockchain storage. Each JCR represents one tonne of physically sequestered carbon. JustCarbon does not own JCRs, but mints them and ensures their quality and transparency.

Additionally, the platform strives for decentralization by issuing 1 billion governance tokens (JCGs), enabling users to participate in decision-making and shaping the future of the platform.
