The protocol is governed by the JPEG token holders who can vote on proposals, access auctions, and level up NFTs.
JPEG'd supports various NFT collections, including CryptoPunks, EtherRocks, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and others. The platform offers a lending mechanism where users can mint the stablecoin $PUSD against borrowed NFTs, which can then be swapped for other stablecoins or deployed to other opportunities. The maximum amount of $PUSD minted is 32% of the NFT's value, and users must pay a 0.5% deposit fee.
The JPEG token is the governance token for the protocol, administering and directing the ecosystem. Token holders can participate in governance by submitting and voting on proposals to modify parameters such as debt limits, interest fees, and credit limits. The protocol aims to expand beyond NFTs to other asset types, enhancing the overall utility of the assets within its ecosystem.
